We specialize in sustainability communications. While that’s not all we do, we do enough of it that we require team members to bring familiarity and experience with this subject matter to the role. That means a baseline understanding of such topics as natural resource conservation, energy and climate change, environmental, social, and corporate governance, the U.N. sustainable development goals, responsible business practices, and more.

 

 Job Description

  • Support senior staff with day-to-day management of client advocacy and legislative initiatives, specifically contributing to research, development of written collateral/content such as strategic plans, PowerPoint presentations, and reports.

  • Support analysis of federal and state policy and industry reports/positions with an eye to digesting into client-ready summaries and recommendations.

  • Help identify opportunities—and threats—to clients business objectives.

  • Prepare briefing documents and backgrounders

  • Track and monitor relevant federal and state legislative matters and sustainability trends.

  • Help manage interns and contractor relationships to ensure delivery of high quality products. 

  • Contribute to new business development.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 3-5 years of in-house, agency, or Capitol Hill experience.

  • Demonstrated tactical proficiency in legislative/policy analysis, writing, project management, presentation development, and other industry competencies.

  • High fluency in Microsoft Office products is a must.

  • Demonstrated business etiquette in both meetings and written client communications.
